Qualified customers receive a 55% discount off the prevailing sewer rate.
Saraland Water and Sewer customers may qualify if they meet the following requirements:
- The applicant is age 65 or older or meets the disability requirement.
- The applicant is the account holder or the spouse of the account holder.
- The total monthly household income must not exceed $2,400.
To apply, complete the Sewer Discount form and return it by email to customer.care@saralandwater.com or drop it off at the Saraland Water and Sewer office.
Applications received by the 15th of the month may receive the reduced fee on the next billing cycle if all requirements are met. Annual re-qualification is required each July.
